About Us
Ida was born from a love for India’s textiles, colours, craftsmanship, and stories.
Founded with the idea of bringing authentic ethnic wear from different corners of India onto one thoughtfully curated platform, Ida celebrates tradition in a way that feels timeless, wearable, and accessible.
From handwoven sarees to contemporary Indo-Western pieces, every collection is made with an eye for detail, comfort, and individuality. We work closely with artisans so that we can offer pieces that carry the essence of their roots while blending beautifully into the modern wardrobe.
Our aim is to bring forgotten crafts from different Indian states back into the light by highlighting not only the art, but also the people behind it-the artisans, makers, and communities whose skill and dedication deserve to be seen and celebrated.
At Ida, we also hope to build a strong women-led workforce that empowers women to become more self-sufficient, and confident in their lives. As we grow, one of our core objectives is to train and educate women from remote areas, creating opportunities through craftsmanship, skill-building, and creative work.
We believe fashion can be more than something beautiful to wear- it can preserve stories, create livelihoods, and build communities.
